Verifying your Identity - Identification Documents
Updated over a week ago

Part of the process for completing your investment account on EquityMultiple is to verify your identity. We require all investors to complete an identity verification process to begin investing. Follow these steps below to verify your identity.

Step-by-step instructions

Step 1: Sign into your EquityMultiple account here

If you don't remember your password, please click on "Forgot password?" and follow the steps to reset your password.

Step 2: Once you are logged in, after verifying your email address, you will be prompted to complete filling in your personal information. Ensure that all information is accurate and typed correctly before submitting.

Note: If you are not a US resident, you will be limited to only creating an entity investment account at this time.

Step 3: Next, submit a copy of your identification document. Upload a clear, color photograph of an acceptable form of ID. This includes a US driver's license, a passport, or a state-issued ID. Ensure all details are entered correctly and the document is not expired. All information entered in the Personal Section while creating your account must match your identification document. At this time, we do not accept Military ID's as a form of verifying your identity.

Step 4: Following the submission of your identification document, your information will be reviewed. In the meantime, you can select the investment account type you would like to open.
