How to sign in using Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) backup codes
Updated over a week ago

After setting up two-factor authentication (2FA) using your phone number, you'll be provided with eight unique backup codes. These codes allow you to sign in to your account, in the event that you are unable to access your phone or receive any one time passcodes (OTP). It's important to note that each backup code can be only used once.

Note: If your account is linked with Google, simply click on the 'G' button to sign in without needing to use any codes.

Step-by-step instructions

Step 1: Navigate to the EquityMultiple sign-in page here:

If you don't remember your password, please click on "Forgot password?" and follow the steps to reset your password.

Step 2: Enter your email address and the password associated with your account.

Step 3: Click on the "Sign In" button.

Step 4: From there, you'll be presented with a form asking for you to enter in the temporary code sent your phone. Enter one of your 8 unique backup codes in this form.

Step 5: Click "Submit".

If the process is successful, you will be signed into your account. Remember to cross off the used code as it cannot be utilized again. If you need any further assistance, please reach out to our Investor Relations team.
